The inclusion of half a pint of milk, one and a half ounces of butter and an egg makes this a lovely springy-soft and delicately flavoured loaf. The crust isn’t too crusty either, it’s thin and quite crisp.
I love it. My wife loves it too. It’s officially our house favourite!
