Fougasse (Savoury and Sweet).
This distinctively slashed flatbread originates from the South of France.
It can be baked plain, but I have opted for a savoury version and a sweet version.
The savoury loaf on the left includes Stilton cheese, chopped walnuts, and sliced black olives.
The sweet loaf on the right includes currants, candied mixed peel, chopped dates, and orange blossom water.
